Programs & Events

Gaits of Hope exists to help people heal from emotional, mental, and life stress through guided, experiential work with horses. We provide a safe, grounded environment where individuals can release what no longer serves them, regain confidence, restore emotional balance, and step forward with clarity and purpose.
We believe healing is not just to feel better for the moment - it is a lasting change. Our work is designed to create real shifts in how people think, feel, respond, and connect with themselves and others.
Veterans & First Responders Programs
The Veterans Program is held every Friday. First responders are welcome to join their fellow servicemen.
It is a safe space to heal from PTSD and service-related trauma through guided connection with horses. It is a non-judgmental environment to restore balance and reduce feelings of isolation, allowing participants to process emotions at their own pace without the pressure to talk or relive their experiences.

Women's Program
The Women's Program is currently a series of 4 weeks, each Tuesday for one month, with a new services starting the 1st Tuesday of every month.
Rediscover yourself and restore your purpose through the quiet power of the horse. You've proven your strength to hold up the world for everyone else up in their pain and times of need, but at Gaits of Hope you come to set that down, exhale, relax, and restore connection to who you are as a person.
Men's Program
The Men's Program, Iron Sharpens Iron, is currently offered as a full day workshop on Saturdays, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Iron Sharpens Iron is built on the concept of being strengthened from the inside out, beginning with biblical principles. This program gives men a space to rebuild integrity, purpose, and accountability in their lives. A place to step out of the pressures of the world and under the guidance of a leader who understands the weight you carry.

Children & Teens' Program
The Children & Teens' Program sessions for the 2026 summer are being planned and you don't want to miss them- day camps, sensory sessions, under how horses work, and much more!
As parents or guardians, trying to reach your child or teen to teach them skills and values they need to succeed in the world can feel like a monumental task. Most times, we feel like they aren't even listening! Bring them to Gaits of Hope, where horses can help you do the impossible. They are able to sense the needs of each child and bring out their self-confidence, increased self-esteem, communication skills, regulation of emotions, and help rebuild family connection.
Bring Gaits of Hope to You
Gaits of Hope also offers traveling retreats, bringing the experience of horse-guided awareness and personal growth to ranches and retreat venues across the country.
These retreats provide participants the opportunity to step away from daily stress and reconnect with themselves through guided interaction with horses, reflective exercises, and group discussion. Horses naturally respond to human emotional states, offering powerful opportunities for awareness, clarity, and personal growth.
