Youth Programs

Helping children build confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience through guided interactions with horses.
Gaits of Hope provides experiential learning programs designed to support children and teens navigating life challenges, emotional stress, or difficult transitions. Since 2017, our programs have helped participants develop awareness, confidence, and healthy coping skills in a calm farm environment.
Participants do not ride the horses. They work alongside them through structured activities including grooming, leading, observation exercises, and reflective learning experiences.
Horses respond honestly to human emotions and behavior, which creates powerful opportunities for youth to develop awareness, boundaries, and emotional regulation.
